THE HARDER SHORTER WAY – Following these directions will save
you about 15-20 minutes than if you were to go the EASY/LONGER WAY. And this is
a very scenic route. However, a missed turn will be costly time wise so please
follow directions closely.
Follow Highway 60 across the lake. Take 2nd left after
crossing the bridge onto Dean Corvin.
Follow Dean Corvin. Approximately 1.2 miles, Dean Corvin will
make a 90 degree turn to the left where it intersects with Five Points Road.
Continue on Dean Corvin until it ends.
Turn left onto Black Oak Ridge Road. Follow Black Oak Ridge
which will become Aslinger Road when you cross the Rhea County line into
Hamilton County. Continue on Aslinger. After the second sharp 90 degree curve to
the right and you will go up a hill. At the top of the hill at the 3-way stop turn left onto
Providence Road. There is a church at the corner of Aslinger and Providence.
Follow Providence until it ends. Turn right onto Dougherty
Ferry Road.
Follow Dougherty Ferry approximately 1/2 mile. Turn left onto
Poole Road. (Note: you will actually be going straight onto Poole as Dougherty
Ferry curves 90 degrees at this intersection.
Follow Poole Road until it ends. Turn right onto May Road.
Follow May Road past Sale Creek Campground and over the
bridge. After crossing the bridge, take first left onto Lee Pike.
Follow Lee Pike approximately 1-1/2 miles and turn left into
Regatta Point subdivision. Marina is immediately on the left.
